Widespread application of bioscience and technology has generated an expansion in biotechnological knowledge in the field of biochemical engineering and biotechnology. The knowledge related to industrial microbiology has been revolutionized by the ability of genetically engineered cells to be used for many purposes.

Treatment of waste water using bioscience and technology is getting importance over other separation techniques like adsorption, absorption, extraction, distillation, electrocoagulation, advance oxidation, different membrane based separations, etc. because of its cost effectiveness and easy of sludge disposal.

The application of biological sciences in engineering with theoretical and practical aspects to enhance understanding of knowledge in this field has come to play an increasingly important role in waste management. This special issue aims at publishing research papers of high quality and lasting value. In addition, the journal contains critical review papers by acclaimed experts.

Subject Coverage

Original research paper or reviews are invited in the following and related areas to:

Bioremediation

Biofiltration

Bioseparation

Combustion

Pyrolysis

Gasification

Aerobic and anaerobicmicrobial processes

Treatment of different industrial effluents

Manuscripts are invited conforming to manuscript formatting, which is available on the Journal website.

Reviews will be done double blind, fair and unbiased, conforming to the Editorial Policy.

Papers need to be sent to the Editor at editor@ijbst.org indicating that the manuscripts are submitted for this special issue.
