Dr. Kondapi is an experimental scientist with more emphasis on application oriented problems.

His current research interests are,

  • Design, development and targeted nanop-based delivery of novel isoform-specific poisons of Topoisomerase II with potential anti-viral and anti-cancer activities.
  • Building molecular pathways associated with the regulation of DNA Topoisomerase II alpha and beta in HIV infection, ontogenesis and ageing for identification oftargets associated with disease progression.
  • Characterization of molecular functions of DNA Topoisomerases in brain with reference to neurogenesis and DNA repair.
  • Neuro-immuno pathogenesis of HIV and AIDS.
