Dr. G. S. Lavekar is Director, Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha (Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of INDIA), New Delhi, INDIA.His career objectives include exploring the ancient basic & applied scientific wisdom of Ayurveda and Siddha through research & translate it into practice; active and productive pursuit in Ayurveda & Siddha Research for ailing humanity particularly in lifestyle related disorders & chronic diseases.
